Repentance is when a servant returns to his Lord by doing good deeds, turning away from bad deeds-sins, sins, wrongdoings, injustices and disobedience to Allah.
Many ignorant or foolish people think that repentance is only done by turning back from bad deeds or sinful deeds.
Their idea is not correct at all.
Rather, what is correct, accurate and acceptable here is that it is a sin to leave the good deeds that Allah Taala has commanded.
Those who give up doing these good deeds must repent from giving them up and return, repenting from doing forbidden deeds more repentant than repenting.
